Management

  • Amy Leurart

Dr. Karl's wife, Amy, left her career in corporate health benefit sales and management in the fall of 2000 due to life-changing events: the birth of a son, Timothy, and the opening of Free Home Animal Hospital.  She now splits her time between client relations and practice management duties at the hospital and caring for her three young children at home.  Studying abroad as a high school and college student not only provided Amy with a husband, but also enriched her appreciation for other cultures.  She speaks French fluently and is proficient in Russian.  Amy's favorite things about sharing the responsibility of running Free Home Animal Hospital with Dr. Karl are, the opportunity to spend time at home with their children, and the incredibly talented, compassionate and hard-working health care team that makes for a successful practice!
